Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 in 1967. She belongs to four generations of the Robertses that live in the Atlanta area beginning in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father took an early interest in stage. When he was a student at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, he was inducted into the air force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was also in the production. The two married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957, the couple quit the air force and Walter was enrolled in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter was hired to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to work on the set of the show Bum Bum and His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for children named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964, a project they self-financed. In 1964 Betty Lou and Walter founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for about six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) and Julia (also called Julie) in this time.
