Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered by many to be among the top athletes. The 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games and she was the first gymnast to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles as well as the younger of her sisters Adria, who were adopted from Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone's love for gymnastics first began at age six when she took a trip with her group of daycare children to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman as coach until 2011. Biles had a great time in the floor and vault exercises at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before getting to the elite competition level in 2011. Within two years, she been the best in this particular discipline. The thing that set Biles apart was the consistency of her flamboyant attitude and the high degree of challenge she integrated into her workout routines for the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
